Ton Duc Thang University Organized a University-level Commendation Ceremony for Students with 5 merits

On March 31, 2024, the Vietnamese Student Association of Ton Duc Thang University organized a university-level ceremony to commend 329 students from 16 Faculties for the title “Student with 5 merits” in the academic year 2022-2023.

The commendation ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Hai Long, Staff of the Organization and Inspection Commission of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly, Member of the Standing Party Committee, Head of the Party Committee Inspection Commission and Vice Chairwoman of the University Council, Mr. Tran Le Anh Huy, Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the University Youth Union and Deputy Head of the Department of Student Affairs, along with leaders and student support staff of Faculties.

At this ceremony, Ms. Truong Thi Cam Tu, President of the University Student Association, reported the results of the “Student with 5 merits” campaign of the academic year 2022-2023. She announced the Decision of title recognition and rewards by the University’s Presidential Board for students who met the criteria, as well as, launched a new campaign for the upcoming academic year. The University’s Vietnamese Student Association provided encouragement to the students who were given the title “Student with 5 merits” with the hope that they will continue to relentlessly pursue this title in the years to come.

“Student with 5 merits” is an honorable title which is granted to students who demonstrate an outstanding academic performance and continuous personal developments in accordance with 5 required criteria (Good ethical conduct – Good academic performance – Good Physical Ability – Good volunteering spirit – Good globalization).
