The opening of the 1st Saigon Premier League, 2018

On the afternoon of November 10th, 2018, the 1st Saigon Premier League 2018 was officially inaugurated at the 2-star FIFA Stadium of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). The football league was organized with the purpose of connecting people having passion for football movement which is also known as football "flush".

The league was officially launched from November 10th, 2018 to December 15th, 2018 with the participation of 12 teams, including 4 teams from different universities: TDTU, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) University of Transport, HCMC University of Agriculture and Forestry and Dong Nai University. The other eight leading teams of Saigon also participated in the tournament, including: W Team, Le Bao Minh, Dat Vinh Tien, Van Minh MN, Sai Gon H.A.T, Lam Hong, Truc Phong and Saigon FC.

After the opening ceremony, the first qualifying round between TDTU and Dong Nai University was a very exciting match with the cheers of the audiences. TDTU won a 3-2 victory over Dong Nai University.
