Ton Duc Thang University worked with the University of Education - Thai Nguyen University
On the afternoon of August 1, 2022, the delegation of the University of Education - Thai Nguyen University led by Assoc. Prof. Ha Tran Phuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council paid a visit and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
Dr. Vu Anh Duc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Acting President of TDTU and leaders of a number of functional units welcomed and worked with the delegation.
The delegation visited Tan Phong Campus and was specifically introduced to some contents on how to manage the facilities system to serve the university's activities effectively.
At the meeting, Dr. Tran Trong Dao shared the experiences of overcoming challenges and difficulties of TDTU from the very beginning, thanks to the consensus and solidarity of the whole university. To successfully build a model of public university autonomy, transparency, discipline and fairness are core principles. The aspiration of each member of TDTU is to develop the higher education system sustainably in the spirit of serving the country.
Assoc. Prof. Ha Tran Phuong affirmed that the autonomy mechanism is a key factor to create a strong foundation for universities that want to innovate and develop independently but still ensure the quality of teaching, research and studying. Thai Nguyen University of Education wishes to learn some practical experiences at TDTU to apply in its development process.
University of Education - Thai Nguyen University is one of 7 key pedagogical universities assigned by the Ministry of Education and Training to foster teachers and educational administrators. This is a key institution in the higher education system of the northern midland and mountainous provinces. It has trained more than 100,000 teachers and educational administrators, including more than 5,000 masters and doctoral students and more than 1,000 international students.
